The cerebellum consists of:
- The cerebellar cortex
- Deep cerebellar nuclei:
- Dentate nucleus: a large nucleus with a folded surface
- Small nuclei:
- Emboliform nucleus
- Globose nucleus
- Fastigial nucleus
- Cerebellar peduncles (3 on each side) carrying tracts to and from the cerebellum
- Central white matter – the tracts within the cerebellum
