Ellie has noticed that her knees have been aching a little for the last month. She has had low back since the third trimester of her although this has been slightly better in recent weeks. The rest of her joints feel okay. She has never suffered with joint problems before.

Her only past medical history includes hayfever and ezcema, which she has had since a teenager.

She takes no regular medication, and has no known drug allergies.

Currently she is on maternity leave, but usually works in as a piano teacher, as well as performing regularly as a pianist in a central London hotel.

Her sister suffers from psoriasis, but she does not know any details. There is no other family history of medical illnesses.
