• She had not been abroad and there is no history of contact with anyone ill, at home or at school.
• She is not sexually active but now has a boyfriend.
• She had previously been healthy and had no past medical history of note.
• She has no cough, nasal symptoms, breathing problems or chest pain.
• She has no skin rash, sore joints or eye symptoms.  
• The light does not bother her eyes and she is not aware of her neck being stiff.
• Apart from taking paracetamol in the past few days, she is not taking any medication.
