Exporting continuous data from LabChart for plotting in Graphpad Prism

Sometimes you need to present continuous data as a graph. If these data come from LabChart you will need to export the data correctly in order to present these in a graph drawing program such as Prism. This tutorial shows you how.
Extracting and plotting data with a variable baseline in LabChart to GraphPad Prism
Getting clear and neat looking data in graphical...
Getting clear and neat looking data in graphical form is not always straightforward. Here I demonstrate how to extract data with variable baseline values into GraphPad prism for the creation of a couple of line graphs demonstrating a twitch response. This video is over 20 minutes long but does explain the whole process in some detail. There are other tutorials in this series that deal with just exporting data or the use of the arithmetic channel in LabChart

Sometimes, data recordings do not always have a stable baseline, In this tutorial I explain a quick way of extracting values from muscle twitch data where the resting (baseline) force is variable.

Sometimes when using a Mac computer you want to be able to present RAW data from LabChart but you only have LabChart reader and so cannot export the data in order to re-plot it outside of LabChart. Here’s a quick tutorial showing how you can do this!
Determining End Tidal O2 and CO2 from tidal gas traces

In this 15 min tutorial I run through the derivation of multiple respiratory parameters including peak flow, volume, total volume, and rate from a single spirometry trace taken from a student practical.
Creating RAW data figures from LabChart for Mac
This tutorial shows how to create a figure...
This tutorial shows how to create a figure using the RAW data from LabChart in order to show the data as it appears on the ZOOM windows within LabChart. This is one workaround for Mac users who cannot copy graphical data from the ZOOM window and then edit in Powerpoint as a vector image. This workaround will also work with the PC version of the software, and can easily be used as an alternative to the copying an image from the ZOOM window. Apologies for the pauses (and the error) in the workflow but that's sometimes the way these things go!
Spirometry Pod, correcting for drift and calibration problems
A common problem with the Spirometry Pods on..
A common problem with the Spirometry Pods on the Powerlab system is drift, you calibrate correctly but the integral (volume) data does not report properly. This 5 min tutorial shows you how to get around this.
