Signs

  • Bilateral follicular, non purulent conjunctivitis caused by Chlamydia trachomatis
  • Follicles on superior tarsal conjunctiva and superior limbus occur after 2-3 weeks
  • Repeated episodes of infection leads to conjunctival cicatrisation causing:
  • The above cause corneal scarring and opacity
