3.0] Introduction

Once we have decided the film is adequate, we can start to assess the film in order to interpret the findings. We need to assess all aspects of the film and decide if there is pathology present. Here is one method to use to ensure systematic evaluation of all areas independently. In order to decide whether it is normal or abnormal, we need to know what the “Normal” structures that we see on a Chest X-ray look like.
