Quality Assurance is the whole package that includes Quality Control tests on the equipment but also the training to use the equipment properly for clinical work.
Acceptance testing and commissioning
Acceptance testing is checking you have been sold what you paid for and that it has been installed and setup correctly. This includes electrical and mechanical safety checks as well as basic performance checks.
Commissioning tests are used for defining / quantifying the equipment’s characteristics, eg the imaging characteristics of a gamma camera to act as base lines for future tests.
