National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA)
NEMA is a group of manufacturers who between then set out standard ways of measuring and reporting common imaging quality indicators. This allows comparisons between equipment from different companies. The NEMA reports are only standard ways of measuring and defining the imaging performance and do not set out expected levels of performance. The most recent version does include limited results but these are quite general and can only be used as a rough guide.
