Signs
- Severe sub-conjunctival haemorrhage
- Hyphaema
- Restriction of ocular motility (often with associated diplopia)
- Extruded intraocular contents (these are often pigmented)
- Collapsed globe
- Irregular pupil & subluxed lens
- Commotio retinae [see image]
- Traumatic optic neuropathy and retinal breaks
- Vitreous haemorrhage
