Radiobiology and the Classification of Biological Effects

Introduction

There are many situations where radiation exposure has given us epidemiology evidence. We will consider the following now:

1. Source of Data
2. Basic Radiobiology
3. Deterministic Effects
4. Stochastic effects
5. Hereditary defects
6. Factors affecting damage to cells
7. Types of cell damage

We shall go on to see how radiation effects are currently grouped in two different ways. Finally in this section we will look at how cellular changes are manifest after radiation damage has occurred.
