6: Herpes Zoster
Introduction
Herpes Zoster (Shingles) is a common unilateral infection caused by the varicella zoster virus. It typically affects the elderly (or immunocompromised). 15% of cases involve the ophthalmic division of the trigeminal nerve (Herpes Zoster Ophthalmicus).
